Signature text is a feature available in the stock Messaging app that will let you automatically display some of information, for instance: your name, contact information, etc., at the bottom of every message you send. You can add signature text up to 40 chars. But, you have to remember that the length of your signature text will reduce the length of your message.

You can set your own signature text by using the following steps:
  1. Open the stock Messaging app.
  2. Tap or long press the Recent apps key to open up the additional options and then select Settings.
  3. Scroll the screen to the very bottom.
  4. Tap Signature. If Signature is off, tap the ON/OFF switch to turn it on.

  6. Enter your own signature here.
  7. Tap Save button.
  8. The signature text has been added.
  9. From now on, your signature text will be inserted automatically at the bottom of your message each time you send a message.
