Samsung Galaxy S5: How to Send a Scheduled Email Message in the Stock Email App in Android 4.4.2 Kitkat

Schedule email is a feature available in the stock Email app that can be used to delay the delivery of your email messages by holding the messages in the Scheduled outbox folder for a specified time after you tap Send button, in other words, this feature will let you compose an email message now and send it at the scheduled time. Given the function, this feature will be useful if you use it to send an email message when it's hard for you to send it manually. But, you have to remember that when it comes to send a scheduled email message but your phone is turned off or the network is unstable/unavailable, then the email message won't be sent.

You can do so by using the following steps:

  7. To schedule the email message, do as follows:
    • Tap at the top right or long press the Recent apps key to open up the additional options and then select Schedule email.
